How it got started
FFA and 4H was the start for me. Showing cattle in these clubs in my early years really sparked my interest in the cattle industry. Growing up we always had some land where we had horses and cows roaming around doing what they do best…eating! Moving into my later years me and my brother in law started a cow calf operation here in Arkansas where we take commercial black angus mommas and breed them with the best bull we can get our hands on to make some top grade calves to sell off the farm or at the market. We keep our operation small because of our busy schedules, so we currently are running 40 head of mommas and we have two bulls for breeding.
